US Solar Fund PLC - Americas-focused utility-scale solar power plant investor - Completes first tranche of a 25% interest acquisition in Mount Signal 2, a 200 megawatts operating solar plant in Imperial Valley, California. Notes US Solar Fund announced binding terms to acquire tranche one of Mount Signal 2 from ASX-listed New Energy Solar Fund Ltd for USD23 million on December 31, 2020. Says total portfolio now consists of 493 megawatts of fully operational assets in four states in the US, with a weighted average investment-grade power purchase agreement term of 15.4 years.
