IN BRIEF: UK Oil & Gas notes resumption of testing at Pinarova-1

UK Oil & Gas PLC - London-based exploration and production company focused on UK and Turkey - Pinarova-1 well operator, Aladdin Middle East, says that the resumption of testing operations within the Germik/Hoya sequence, is expected in around four weeks. Says testing will cover the section where strong oil odours were recorded over a 12-hour period during drilling.

UKOG holds a 50% non-operated interest in Pinarova-1 and the surrounding 305 kilometre squared Resan licence, which also includes the as yet undeveloped Basur-1 light oil discovery.

Current stock price: 0.031 pence, up 1.6%

(Sharecast News) - UK Oil & Gas announced on Thursday that, following detailed consultations with its legal counsel and planning advisers, it would now launch an appeal against Surrey County Council's 15 December decision to refuse planning consent for its wholly-owned Loxley gas appraisal project.
