Trading has improved in the weeks since online casino company 32Red announced its results in early March.The Gibraltar-based AIM company said trading gross gaming revenues were up 19% in the first 24 days in March against the corresponding period, taking the cumulative year-to-date increase to 8%.It also argued that last week's UK Budget from Chancellor George Osborne contained "nothing new of substance" in relation to the proposed introduction of a point of consumption tax from the end of 2014, which would be designed to tax offshore-registered online gambling providers.The company said it continued to work with the Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association "to ensure that the industry concerns are voiced and understood by the UK Government and other stakeholders".32Red added that management remained confident in the prospects for the business and in meeting financial expectations for the year.Shares in the company were up 10% to 63p at 10:30 on Wednesday.
