32Red Announces Special Dividend For 2015 Following Strong Performance

Wed, 10th Feb 2016 08:38

LONDON (Alliance News) - 32Red PLC Wednesday said it will pay a special dividend of 3.0 pence per share following the company's trading update last month that showed record revenue that will help the company beat full-year expectations.

The remote gaming operator said last month that it expects its full-year 2015 earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation to be slightly ahead of expectations after net gaming revenue grew to a record level of GBP48.6 million during 2015 from GBP32.1 million in 2014.

The good news continued Wednesday as 32Red said it will pay a special dividend for 2015 of 3.0 pence per share, which will be in addition to 32Red's final dividend for the year, which will be revealed when it releases its full-year results for 2015 on March 10.

"This outcome was underpinned by strong organic growth as well as the now completed successful integration of Roxy Palace, acquired in July 2015," said 32Red on Wednesday.

Last month, 32Red said early trading in 2016 had been strong, with revenue in the first 19 days up 27% year-on-year, and up 54% including the contribution from Roxy Palace.

32Red shares were trading up 3.2% to 138.75 pence per share on Wednesday.
