EECP has pre-paid USD150,000 amid a wider placing of USD6 million in shares by Tower Resources with EECP in mid-January. Says application for placing shares to be admitted to trading on AIM in London has been made, with admission expected to take place on or around Tuesday next week.

Tower Resources PLC - Africa-focused oil and gas company - Announces institutional share placing worth up to USD6 million with Energy Exploration Capital Partners LLC. Initially the placing will raise USD1.3 million at a premium price of 0.36p, after which EECP will invest up to USD1.8 million in aggregate for shares worth up to USD1.9 million. If required, Tower may raise a further USD3.0 million from Energy Exploration Capital Partners via a shares issue.

IN BRIEF: Tower Resources amends financing plans for Cameroon well

Tower Resources PLC - Africa-focused oil and gas company - Says Cameroon government agrees to further extension of exploration to May 2023. However, Tower Resources is redrawing its funding plans for drilling the NJOM-3 well at the Thali project, offshore Cameroon. Tower Resources says it has yet to receive approval from the government of Cameroon regarding its farm-out to Beluga Energy of a 49% non-operating working interest in its Thali production sharing contract. The farm-out to Beluga Energy Ltd covers USD15 million towards the expected USD16.8 million cost of the NJOM-3 well that Tower is planning to drill. Company has now informed Cameroon's minister of mines, industry & technological development it will no longer be seeking approval of the farmout in its current form.
