Topps Tiles PLC - Leicester-based tile retailer - Says several motions at annual general meeting receive sizeable dissent, with one not passing. Just under 37% back approval of directors' remuneration report. Just over 37% reject re-election of Non-Executive Director Diana Breeze. Just over 37% reject motion on approval to allot shares. Just under 37% reject motion granting authority to purchase shares. The latter motion failed to pass. The rest went through without a hitch. Topps Tiles adds: "The board confirms that it will consult and engage with the relevant shareholders to understand and discuss their views with respect to these resolutions. An update will be provided within six months of the AGM."
