(Alliance News) - Tharisa PLC said Thursday it has appointed Julia Hu as non-executive director from its annual general meeting on January 29.
Hu will be appointed as a representative of Hong Kong-based NWS Holdings Ltd, a diversified industries group company which holds a 15% stake in the London and Johannesburg-listed resources firm.
Hu is currently senior manager for Environment at NWS Infrastructure Management Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of NWS.
Shares in Tharisa - which is based in Cyprus - closed untraded at ZAR12.50 in Johannesburg on Thursday, while its London shares were 4.3% lower at 78.00 pence on Thursday.
