Thor Energy PLC - US and Australia-focused mineral exploration company - At the Alford east copper - rare earth element project in South Australia, says new 3D model shows deeply weathered troughs in areas of unaltered metamorphic were found associated with zones of faulting, deep oxidation and intrusives as depth. Notably, the ambient noise tomography surveys confirm the significance of the prominent north-northeast structure associate with copper oxide mineralisation. "The combined resultant 3D model provides targeted criteria for extensions to existing mineralisation and potential for new discoveries of oxide copper-rare earth element mineralisation," Thor Energy says.

Current stock price: 1.42 pence, closed 2.1% lower on Wednesday in London

Notes this included rock chip and stream sediment sampling. Says the rock chip sampling over the 13 kilometre-long Sterling prospect returned up to 6 grams per tonne of gold in rock chip. Finds anomalous gold of up to 1.46 grams per tonne and copper of 4.8% at the Kelly prospect. Plans to continue sampling geological mapping and sampling.

Thor Mining PLC - A London-based exploration and development company focused on Australia - Starts conducting an electromagnetic survey over the nickel gossan, or Krona prospect, of its Ragged Range project in Eastern Pilbara, Western Australia. Says the survey is supposed to detect "conductive anomalies" that could indicate the presence of nickel sulphide mineralisation. Says the survey is being undertaken by Vortex Geophysics Pty Ltd and is expected to take one week to complete. Notes that final preparations are in place to start the second phase of reverse circulation drilling at the Sterling gold prospect.
