(Sharecast News) - Telit Communications appointed four new non-executive directors to its board on Friday as non-executive director Lars Reger stepped down from the board with immediate effect.The new appointments include Finland's former minister of communications Suvi Linden and global media management expert Adam Power, who had both been slated as candidates for an independent director role in September when shareholders attempted to oust chief executive Yosi Fait and director Simon Duffy.The other new board members joining the Rome-based 'internet of things' enabler are Gil Sharon and Harald Rösch, chief executive of Maltese telecommunications company Melita.Paolo Dal Pino, executive chairman of Telit, said: "We are delighted to welcome these four experienced individuals. Their appointment considerably enhances the board's capabilities and expertise as they all bring with them significant industry experience.Meanwhile, Reger, who previously served as head of the process and product engineering departments, project manager for Mobile System Chips, and director of IP Management, leaves to focus on his role at NXP Semiconductors."We would also like to thank Lars for his contribution to the board over the last four years and wish him well for the future," said Dal Pino.Telit Communications' shares were up 2.17% to 155.30p at 1241 BST.
