ServicePower Technologies confirms talks with Constellation Software subsidiary

(ShareCast News) - ServicePower Technologies confirmed it is in preliminary discussions with Jonas Computing, a subsidiary of Canada's Constellation Software Inc, which could lead to an offer being made for the company.The announcement came as the shares rose 79% to 4.48p. "The board would like to emphasise that these discussions are at a preliminary stage and that there can be no assurances that such an offer will be made for ServicePower, nor as to the terms on which any offer will be made," it said, adding that shareholders should take no action.
