LONDON (Alliance News) - Supermarket Income REIT PLC on Monday said its investment advisor, Atrato Capital, appointed Justin King as a senior advisor with immediate effect.
King served as chief executive officer of FTSE 100 grocer J Sainsbury PLC for ten years until 2014.
Prior to that, he was part of the leadership team at Marks & Spencer Group PLC and previously held senior roles at Walmart Inc-owned Asda.
"He, therefore, brings a wealth of experience of the grocery sector and a deep understanding of grocery property strategy," the real estate investment company said.
Supermarket Income REIT shares were trading down 0.1% at 101.90 pence each.
