Sumo Group PLC - Sheffield-based video game developer - In its statement for its annual general meeting scheduled for Thursday, said it has continued to trade in line with market expectations. Says video gaming activity and console purchases are accelerating faster than previously forecast amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Adds it is currently generating a strong pipeline of new business development opportunities across both client and its own intellectual property. Integration of Lab42 Ltd acquired in May is going to plan, with the work-for-hire studio business already performing well in the short period since acquisition.
