April 3 (Reuters) - Norway will improve the transparency ofits reporting of gas flows to Europe and of outages at itsoffshore gas fields and onshore processing plants, gas systemoperator Gassco said on Tuesday.
From Wednesday onwards, Gassco will start reporting onplanned maintenance and unplanned outages affecting gas flows byat least 5 million cubic metres (mcm) per day, down from 20 mcmper day previously.
In addition to the information about gas exiting pipelinesand entering receiving terminals in Britain, Germany, Belgiumand France, Gassco would also provide volumes of gas enteringits system to indicate how balanced the system is.(Reporting by Nerijus Adomaitis, editing by Gwladys Fouche)
