Market researcher YouGov's trading has met expectations recently despite continuing difficult trading environment experienced by the entire marketing services sector. "The company has begun to see the benefits of the increased focus on its key growth areas of business as well as the cost reduction measures put in place earlier in the year," it said. "These actions should help to improve underlying profitability in the next financial year although we envisage that market conditions will remain challenging, at least until the end of 2009," it added.Storage group Lok'n'Store reports robust trading in the second half of the financial year to 31 July, recovering strongly from the challenging economic conditions prevailing in the first half of the year.In each of the last six months occupancy has seen a month on month increase, recovering earlier falls, and is now up 2% year-on-year.
