LONDON (Alliance News) - Scisys PLC said Friday that it full-year results will meet expectations and expressed confidence for 2014 as it saw strong order intake in its fourth quarter.
Scisys produces software systems for the media and broadcast, space, government and defence sector.
The company said its Enterprise Solutions and Defence division had traded with increasing confidence in the second half of the year ended December 31, 2013, as it secured new contracts. Its Space division performed similarly, seeing order intake towards the end of the year.
However, Scisys noted that delayed activity amongst its existing and prospective customer based continued to hurt orders in its Media and Broadcast division.
Scisys has undertaken restructuring during the second half and said the benefits of this will be felt in 2014.
Scisys will report its full-year results March 26.
Shares in Scisys were trading up 4.4% at 70.45 pence Friday morning.
