Spectra Systems Corp - Rhode Island, US-based authentication technology provider - Hires Edward Spies to be chief financial officer. Spies previously worked as a CFO consultant at accountants AAFCPAs from April 2021 to August last year and was CFO at polymer component manufacturer Mearthane Products Corp from March to September 2020. He started at accountants PricewaterhouseCoopers. Spectra announced in late April that Colleen Hamill had resigned "to explore other opportunities", after less than one year CFO. Chief Executive Officer Nabil Lawandy managed Spectra's finances in the interim, alongside Financial Controller Liz Squires.
Lawandy comments: "I am delighted to welcome Ed to Spectra Systems and believe that his breadth of experience, particularly in technology companies as well as mergers and acquisitions, will be of great value to the company in its next phase of growth."
