DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Shawbrook Deputy CEO And HR Boss Buy

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Wednesday.

Shawbrook Group said Stephen Johnson, deputy chief executive, bought 148,585 shares at a price of 167 pence per share on Wednesday.

Following this transaction, Johnson now holds 2.7 million shares, which represents a 1.08% stake in the lender.

The company also said Human Resources Director Debbie Griffin bought 5,780 shares at 173p each, which is her only holding after joining the company in May.

The mid-cap lender on Tuesday said it will book a GBP9.0 million impairment charge after irregularities were uncovered in its Asset Finance unit, sending its shares down 14%.

The stock closed up 21% at 170.00p Wednesday.

WPP said Non-Executive Director John Wood bought 3,000 shares at a price of GBP15.3178 each on Wednesday. The purchase is Wood's only holding in the advertising and marketing group. The stock closed up 0.9% at 1,535.56p Wednesday.
