Michael Jackson, the Chairman of Advanced Computer Software Group, sold 445,376 ordinary shares in the healthcare and business management software company at a price of 55p per share. The £244,957 sale, which was made for "personal reasons", takes Jackson's total stake in the company to just under 1.24m shares, equal to around 0.34% of the issued share capital.Last month the company posted revenue growth of 10%, boosted in particular by its Managed Services division. Adjusted pre-tax profit rose 13% to £21.2m (2011:£18.7m) and earnings per share were up from 1.1p to 1.8p. Net debt was significantly reduced from £31.2m to £1.1m. The firm has future contracted revenues of £110m compared to £78m at the same date last year. Over the past year the share price has risen 43%, equal to 17.50p.
