LONDON (Alliance News) - SimplyBiz Group PLC on Thursday expressed confidence for the year ahead as it saw a strong growth in customer numbers in 2018.
The stock was trading 8.0% higher on Thursday at 163.00 pence per share.
The financial consultancy firm said its revenue and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization grew ahead of management expectations in 2018.
SimplyBiz said it expects to report a 8.5% increase in its membership numbers to 3,726 subscribers from 3,433 in 2017.
The company said its investments in new technology, including Centra investment service, coupled with an expansion of services provided, has driven continued growth in its customer base.
"One of the many positive factors of our business model is our recurring income and forward revenue visibility. This provides us with a great deal of confidence, and we enter 2019 full of optimism and in great shape for the year ahead," said Joint Chief Executive Matt Timmins.
