SimplyBiz Group PLC - business services provider to financial advisers - Hires David Thompson as chief financial officer, effective from April 1 and notes Finance Director Gareth Hague will leave on March 31 "by mutual agreement". Thompson was CFO of AIM-listed gas and electricity smart meter installer Smart Metering Systems PLC and has held senior finance positions at accounting firm Johnston Carmichael LLP and professional services group PwC LLP.
