EXECUTIVE CHANGES: NAHL promotes CFO James Saralis to CEO

Tue, 17th Aug 2021 14:38

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

NAHL Group PLC - consumer legal services - Promotes James Saralis from chief financial officer to chief executive officer, effective immediately. Finance Director Chris Higham is appointed as acting CFO, though he won't join the board. Saralis joined NAHL as CFO at the start of 2018. Since then, the company said, he has help transform its Personal Injury business into a modern, technology-enabled law firm, while also overseeing a reduction in group debt. Higham joined NAHL in 2006 as financial controller of National Accident Helpline Ltd, having worked at Thomson Reuters.

----------

Rurelec PLC - power generator and power plants developer focused on Argentina - Executive Director Simon Morris resigns, effective immediately, with no reason provided by the company. Rurelec says a search for a successor has begun, and it will continue its strategy of selling non-core assets to increase financial liquidity. "Since his appointment to the board in 2015, Simon has played a key role in the survival of the company by stabilising the finances against a background of deteriorating operating conditions in the state controlled electricity market in Argentina," comments Director Andy Coveney.

----------

Treatt PLC - Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk-based natural ingredients for beverage, flavour and fragrance industries - Non-Executive Director Jeff Iliffe will step down on February 25, 2022, having served for nine years on the board. Treatt noted that Iliffe would no long be considered independent if he remained longer.
