(Alliance News) - Rambler Metals & Mining PLC on Thursday said it achieved its highest gold and copper output in five years.
In 2019, saleable copper production came in at 5,299 tonnes, up 27% year-on-year, with gold production rising 17% to 4,887 ounces. Rambler said this was its best output performance since 2014.
For 2020, the operator of the Ming mine in Canada expects saleable copper production between 6,000 and 8,500 tonnes. This could represent a year-on-year jump of as much as 60%.
For saleable gold, Rambler forecasts output to rise by as much 23% to between 4,000 and 6,000 ounces. However, should 2020 gold production come at the bottom of its guidance range, this would represent an 18% fall from 2019.
Shares in the company were 10% higher at 2.25 pence each in London on Thursday afternoon.
