LONDON (Alliance News) - Real Good Food PLC on Wednesday appointed Steve Dawson as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.
The food company said Dawson is currently the managing director & founder of BrandGrowth LLC, a company which advises food & beverage brands on how to achieve their growth strategies.
Prior to founding BrandGrowth in January 2016, Dawson was CEO of the US division of Walkers Shortbread Inc.
"On behalf of the company, I am delighted to welcome Steve to the board," said Real Good Food Chief Executive Hugh Cawley.
"His extensive experience in both the US and in food brands will undoubtedly prove to be very useful and will add significant value to the company," added Cawley.
Shares in Real Good Food were trading 3.6% higher on Wednesday at 7.90 pence each.
