(Sharecast News) - Drug development company Redx Pharma noted an announcement from the UK BioIndustry Association (BIA) on Monday that Lisa Anson had been elected to serve on the BIA board of directors.The AIM-traded firm said Anson - its own chief executive officer - would start with the BIA board on 1 January, for a three year term."I am delighted to be elected to join the BIA board," said Lisa Anson."I am passionate about the UK Biotech sector, as it is not only the focus for much of the exciting science in the UK, but it is also an important sector supporting the UK economy."Having previously been president of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI), I am personally excited at the prospect of working with the BIA to further the Industry."
