React wins contract with existing customer for cleaning services range

(Alliance News) - React Group PLC on Monday said it has won a new three-year contract to supply a range of reactive cleaning and decontamination services to an unnamed "leading" facility management company.

The South Derbyshire, England-based cleaning, hygiene and decontamination firm said the contract will be an increase in business with an existing customer. It will provide cover to a portfolio of more than 2,000 locations across the country.

Shares in React were up 12% at 2.85 pence in London on Monday.

React said the award is part of its customer's strategy to consolidate supply chains from several hundred small suppliers to just one.

"The award of this contract is this customer's response to our efforts and recognises the uniqueness and value of React's specialist cleaning proposition. The award also highlights the potential for further consolidation in the specialist cleaning industry, one where we believe React is fast becoming the go-to choice for customers that need rapid delivery of a suite of specialist cleaning capabilities, nationwide," said Chief Executive Shaun Doak.
