LONDON (Alliance News) - TransGlobe Energy Corp said Monday it has appointed Geoff Probert as vice president & chief operating officer following a "robust" search.
Current Vice President & COO Lloyd Herrick will be moving to executive vice president position, focusing on growth initiatives for the company.
Probert is expected to join the AIM and Toronto-listed company by the end of March.
He has over 30 years operational experience within the industry, with prior senior and executive roles at Royal Dutch Shell PLC, BHP Group PLC and, most recently, North Africa managing director for Petroceltic Holdings Ltd.
Shares in TransGlobe Energy were untraded Monday, last closing at 150.00 pence each.
