HOUSTON, June 28 (Reuters) - July-delivery CARBOB gasolineclimbed 5 cents a gallon to 7 cents a gallon over August NYMEXRBOB gasoline in the San Francisco Bay spot market after aThursday malfunction at an area refinery, traders said onFriday.
Royal Dutch Shell Plc said that its 156,400 barrelper day (bpd) Martinez, California, refinery had restored normaloperations by Friday afternoon following the malfunction onThursday.
In the Los Angeles market, July CARBOB retreated 1 cent to 9cents a gallon over August NYMEX RBOB gasoline.
In the Portland, Oregon, market gasoline was unchanged at 11cents a gallon over August NYMEX RBOB.
Los Angeles-market CARB diesel rose 1 cent to 1.5 cents agallon over August NYMEX heating oil. In the Bay, CARB dieselwas 1 cent a gallon over the L.A. price.
Portland diesel rose 5 cents a gallon to 6.5 cents overAugust NYMEX heating oil.
