Aug 27 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell PLC on Friday
said it has initiated a safe and orderly shutdown of its
manufacturing facilities in Geismar and Norco, Louisiana, ahead
of Hurricane Ida.
The company said both locations will maintain essential
personnel on site to provide assessments of the storm's impact
and to support a safe restart.
"At this time, we cannot confirm a schedule for when we
would resume full operations and production," the company said.
