Quadrise Fuels International, an emulsion fuels supplier, has admitted that during its first sea-borne assessment on a Mærsk container ship it was not possible to fully optimise engine performance, as the test configuration afforded limited scope for relevant 'in service' adjustments, but that the results have provided the necessary data for future adjustment and assessments. Further tests are planned in the second half of the year with the support of Maersk, candidate refineries and major engine manufacturers, the firm said. Televisual content streaming specialist Motive Television's Spanish arm has been granted a patent for 'the placement of dynamic advertising during the reproduction of audiovisual content. Software Radio Technologies (SRT) has won a $3.7m contract with a "government in the Americas" for identifiers to track and identify vessels along "thousands of miles of coastline". SRT says this order represents around one fifth of the customer's total requirement over the next three years. Oxford Biomedica has announced an extension of its contract to manufacture bulk drugs for so-called "Investigational Medicinal Products". The contract required approval from the UK Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and ought to give Oxford Biomedica more partnership opportunities.BS
