LONDON (Alliance News) - Stevia ingredients producer PureCircle Ltd on Wednesday said it expects a rise in sales and an improvement in all financial metrics year-on-year in the first half.
PureCircle said sales for the first half to the end of December will be no less than USD54.0 million, up 25% year-on-year thanks to growth in sales in all regions and across all its ingredient categories.
In addition, the company said it expects earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation for the half to be at least USD13.0 million, compared to USD7.0 million a year earlier, boosted by the higher sales and improved margins.
"First-half 2016 has seen continued market growth across all food and beverage categories and all geographical regions enabled by our stevia innovation," said PureCircle Chief Executive Magomet Malsagov.
