John Whittaker has made yet another big purchase in property company Intu, this time buying 195,000 shares at 329.20p. The £641,940 purchase takes his stake in the group to 20.02%, equal to 191.13m shares. Whittaker, who joined the board after selling Intu the well-known Trafford Centre shopping mall, has made a series of large purchases of Intu shares over recent weeks. The company was this month demoted to the FTSE 250 after recent events, including the re-branding of its shopping centres and the placing of 86m shares to fund the acquisition of a shopping centre in Milton Keynes, failed to lift the share price.Top Director BuysIntu Properties (INTU) Director name: Mr John Whittaker Amount purchased: 195,000 @ 329.20p Value: £641,940PureCircle Ltd.
