Sureserve Group PLC - Basildon, Essex-based compliance and energy services focused on UK public sector - Executive Chair Bob Holt steps down ahead of annual general meeting on Thursday. Senior Independent Director Robert Legget is made interim chair, while Chief Financial Officer Peter Smith is made interim chief operating officer. Sureserve will look for a new independent non-executive chair and a chief executive. "Bob is leaving Sureserve having successfully completed its turnaround, delivering a very strong financial performance and overseeing a 125% recovery in Sureserve's share price since he was recruited in July 2016," Legget says. Shares in Sureserve, formerly known as Lakehouse PLC, fell as low as 20.5 pence at the end of 2018, but on Thursday were trading at 68.00p, down 6.9% on the day.

Prudential PLC - London-based insurer - Hires Jeanette Wong as non-executive director, starting May 1. Wong was chief financial officer of DBS Group, a Singaporean bank, and also was responsible for its institutional business. As previously announced, Chua Sock Koong and Ming Lu also will join the board as non-executive directors on May 1. Prudential Chair Shriti Vadera says Wong "has a wealth of operational experience from a long career in financial services in southeast Asia. Her knowledge and skills will be invaluable as Prudential continues its transformation into a business focused exclusively on Asia and Africa."

Knights Group Holdings PLC - Staffordshire, England-based legal and professional services - Hires Gillian Davies as senior independent non-executive director, effective immediately. Davies was chief financial officer for companies including London listing 4imprint Group PLC and former listing Harwood Wealth Management Group PLC. She currently is a non-executive director of Ten Lifestyle Group PLC.

PureTech Health PLC - Boston, Massachusetts-based biotherapeutics - Stephen Muniz will retire as chief operating officer and step down from board on May 17. Chief of Business & Strategy Bharatt Chowrira will take over the responsibilities of Muniz, who was a co-founder of PureTech.
