Tue, 24th Aug 2021 11:03

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Tuesday.

----------

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

----------

Bank of Georgia Group PLC, up 3.5% at 1,504.60 pence, 12-month range 829.74p-1,662.00p. Peel Hunt raises rating on the Georgian lender to Buy from Add.

----------

Hunting PLC, up 2.7% at 203.00p, 12-month range 120.10p-297.00p. The energy services provider makes USD5.0 million investment in Cumberland Additive Holdings in a move that sees Hunting diversifying into the additive manufacturing sector. Hunting says the investment provides the group with access to the fast growing additive manufacturing sector, which is increasingly being adopted by many of the firm's current oil and gas clients.

----------

Pensana PLC, up 2.8% at 96.60p, 12-month range 38.00p-208.00p. The mining company says geotech drilling and trenching work has started at the Saltend rare earth oxide separation facility, in the UK. Says key milestone marks the start of building the world's first sustainable rare earth separation facility with a target production of 12,500 annualised tonnes of rare earth oxides, including 4,500 tonnes of magnet metal rare earth oxides. This would represent approximately 5% of 2025 projected world demand.

----------

Tirupati Graphite PLC, up 1.7% at 113.37p, 12-month range 45.00p-160.00p. The advanced materials developer says for financial year to March 31, revenue was GBP1.1 million, up 42% from GBP793,577 last year. Total production was up 30% year-on-year, with total sales volume up 54%. Company remains on track and with its recent capital raise of GBP10 million in April and is in a sound financial position to deliver on the current phase under its medium-term development plan, it adds.
