EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Fintel chair exits after 6 mos; Sanderson hires CFO

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Fintel PLC - Huddersfield, England-based - technology and support for retail financial services sector - Non-Executive Chair Gary Hughes steps down from board immediately, for "personal reasons", after only six months in post. Deputy Chair Ken Davy to be interim chair until a permanent successor is found.

Tracsis PLC - Leeds-based traffic data & transportation services firm - Hires James Routh to be senior independent director, starting immediately. Routh is chief executive officer of fellow AIM listing AB Dynamics PLC, which provides testing systems and measurement products to the automotive market.

Sanderson Design Group PLC - Buckinghamshire-based interior design and furnishings - Hires Mike Woodcock as chief financial officer, starting November 1. Current CFO Michael Williamson will leave the company on October 31 "to pursue new career opportunities". Woodcock was CFO for stationery retailer Paperchase and previously worked for Compagnie Financiere Richemont SA as CFO of Alfred Dunhill and of Montblanc. Chair Dianne Thompson said that Williamson successfully led the company's finances through the difficult periods of Covid and Brexit and that Woodcock's experience in luxury consumer brands will be valuable for Sanderson's growth.

National World PLC - UK newspaper industry investor that acquired JPIMedia Publishing in May - Hires David Fordham as non-executive director, starting Wednesday. Fordham will represent 24% shareholder Mediaforce (Holdings) Ltd. National World said Fordham is an experienced newspaper industry executive and currently is a director of Iiiffe Media Group Ltd.

Pensana PLC - miner of rare earth metals for electric vehicles and wind turbines - Hires Steve Sharpe as independent non-executive director, starting immediately. Sharp is a natural resources financier who is an executive board member of EIT RawMaterials and a partner at SLB Capital Management. Previously, he was a managing director at Canaccord Genuity and also worked at Standard Bank Group Ltd and NM Rothschild. Meanwhile, Sandra Bates steps down as non-executive director on Wednesday.

Instem PLC - Staffordshire, England-based IT provider for life sciences - Hires Riaz Bandali as independent non-executive director, starting December 1. Bandali is CEO of Canadian-listed Emerald Health Therapeutics Inc.

British Honey Co PLC - Buckinghamshire-based spirits and honey producer - Confirms appointment of Chief of Staff Alex Maurice as an executive director. The appointment was first announced earlier last week.

Alternative Income REIT PLC - invests in UK commercial property assets let on long leases - Hires Stephanie Eastment as independent non-executive director, starting on Friday and replacing Jim Prower. Eastment, an accountant, is a non-executive director for Murray Income Trust PLC, Herald Investment Trust PLC and Impax Environmental Markets PLC.
