Chesterfield Resources PLC - copper explorer focused on Cyprus - Lands GBP2.1 million investment from Polymetal International PLC. Gold miner takes 23% stake in Chesterfield. "Polymetal will become the largest shareholder in Chesterfield and a strategic partner," Chesterfield says.

Blencowe Resources PLC - developing Orom-Cross jumbo flake graphite project in Uganda - Expects maiden JORC-compliant resource at Orom-Cross graphite project in early first-quarter. " Leading graphite specialists SGS Lakefield undertaking phase two metallurgical work on track to deliver results in Q1 2021," Blencowe says.

W Resources PLC - London-based tungsten, tin and gold mining company with assets in Spain and Portugal - Says plant improvements at La Parrilla tungsten and tin project in Spain have "consolidated" recoveries so far during fourth quarter. "Following the improvements that led to such a strong September, I am greatly encouraged that this momentum has continued into Q4," La Parrilla Managing Director Pablo Neira says.

Panthera Resources PLC - gold exploration and development company with assets in West Africa and India - Says fieldwork to begin at Kalaka gold project, Mali next week. "The Kalaka project is a very large gold system with historical drilling consistently reporting significant gold intercepts," Managing Director Mark Bolton says.

Serinus Energy PLC - upstream oil and gas exploration and production company that owns and operates projects in Tunisia and Romania - Plans to raise USD20 million through a placing via an accelerated bookbuild. "The proceeds of the placing will be used as part of a proposal to retire the EBRD convertible debt, and for the installation of the first pumps in a well work over programme for the Sabria field in Tunisia," Serinus says.

Greencoat Renewables PLC - renewable energy company - Proposes placing to raise EUR100 million. "In line with strategy, the proceeds of the placing will be used to pay down the company's existing revolving credit facility and provide financial flexibility to take advantage of a pipeline in excess of EUR500 million in value accretive acquisition opportunities in Ireland and in other target European countries," Greencoat says.

Mirriad Advertising PLC - advertising agency - Plots placing to raise GBP23 million through issue of up to 57.6 million shares at 40 pence. "The net proceeds from the placing will be used for general working capital purposes in pursuit of the company's existing strategy," Mirriad says.

APQ Global Ltd - Guernsey-based emerging markets investor - Disposes of stake in City of London Investment Group PLC. Held 1.7 million shares in company and nets GBP7.2 million from sale.

Proton Motor Power Systems PLC - fuel cells company - Given clearance to announce details from European order. Says order consists of integrating fuel cell into rail milling machine as part of project devised by Austrian firm Linsinger Maschinenbau Gesellschaft mbH. "Proton Motor will be delivering a 214 kilowatt hydrogen fuel cell system specifically adapted to Linsinger's requirements," Proton says.

"This opportunity represents a significant milestone for the company," Actual says. Company adds order came from a channel partner whose customer is a "leading global energy supplier".

EKF Diagnostics Holdings PLC - Cardiff-based diagnostics and central laboratory assay manufacturer - Notes partner Kantaro Biosciences LLC gets US Food & Drug Administration emergency use approval for SeroKlir SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibody test kit. "EKF has exclusive rights to market and distribute COVID-SeroKlir, a quantitative SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibody test kit, in the UK and Germany and non-exclusive rights in Europe," EKF says. Adds it has sold 1.7 million Renalytix AI PLC shares for GBP7.7 million.
