(Alliance News) - Shares rose in Proton Motor Power Systems PLC on Monday as it announced the receipt of a third order from an unnamed large international engineering and aerospace group.
Shares in the Munich-based fuel cells company were 18% higher at 111.00 pence on Monday in London. The stock is up 58% so far in 2021.
The order is for four Proton Motor S8 fuel cell systems for the autonomous provision of energy and heat. In addition, the customer has indicated that there may be follow up orders to come in the pipeline.
"We are delighted to be working with this important customer for the long term and we expect that the relationship will expand to include training and service to support international sales," said Chief Executive Officer Faiz Nahab.
