Most recently, Andrews was senior vice president Airframe at aerospace firm Meggitt PLC, and has held senior finance roles at Ingram Micro Inc and GSK PLC.

(Alliance News) - The UK government has called on Good Energy Group PLC, Utilita Energy and Iberdrola SA's subsidiary Scottish Power, to help their prepayment customers claim GBP400 in support vouchers after naming them as falling short on sending the help out.

IN BRIEF: Appreciate shareholders vote for PayPoint acquisition

Appreciate Group PLC - Merseyside, England-based multi-retailer redemption product provider to corporate and consumer markets - Reports that a majority of its shareholders have voted in favour of the acquisition by PayPoint PLC at its general meeting and the court meeting. At the court meeting, 99% of shareholders voted for the acquisition. At the general meeting, motion also gets 99% support. The acquisition still remains subject to the satisfaction or waiver of other conditions, including the court sanctioning the scheme at the court hearing, it says.

IN BRIEF: PayPoint third-quarter revenue rises roughly 10%

PayPoint PLC - payment services provider - Says net revenue from continuing operations rises 9.8% on-year to GBP32.5 million in third quarter ended December 31, from GBP29.6 million. Shopping divisional net revenue rises 4.8%, E-commerce by 51% and Payments & Banking by 11%. "Whilst the market background remains uncertain, our compelling characteristics of strong cash flow, resilient earnings and growth mean we remain confident of the progress we are making in the transformation of our business and delivering expectations for the year," Chief Executive Nick Wiles says.
