DIRECTOR DEALINGS: Hyve chair and CEO buy as share price hit by Russia

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of share dealings by London-listed company directors and managers announced on Thursday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Hyve Group PLC - London-based events organiser - Chair Richard Last and Chief Executive Officer Mark Shashoua buy 100,000 shares each at 60.00p and 60.17p, worth GBP120,167, on Thursday. Hyve on Monday said it had postponed events scheduled to be held in Ukraine until further notice, though these represent only 3% of company revenue. There has been no impact yet on its events schedule in Russia, but it expects disruption to Western participation. Is assessing potential financial impact of sanctions by EU, UK and US against Russia. The YugAgro agricultural trade show in Russia is one of Hyve's top 10 events. The stock is down 45% in the past month.

Melrose Industries PLC - London-based industrial turnaround specialist - Four non-executive directors, led by Chair Justin Dowley, buy a total of 167,000 shares at 132.26p to 136.51p, worth about GBP220,000, on Thursday. Dowley bought 75,000 of the shares. Melrose on Thursday reported 2021 results, saying it had narrowed its loss but faced headwinds from semiconductor shortages and Covid disruption.

Oxford BioDynamics PLC - biotechnology firm focused on discovery and development of epigenetic biomarkers - Non-Executive Director Stephen Diggle buys 543,997 shares via Vulpes Testudo Fund at 22.3 pence, worth GBP121,311, on Tuesday and Wednesday. Diggle now is interested in 15.7 million shares, a 15.6% stake.

Uniphar PLC - Dublin-based healthcare services - Non-Executive Director Paul Hogan buys 42,098 shares at EUR3.40, worth EUR143,133, on Wednesday.
