African Consolidated Resources gains 4.3 percent as the AIM-listedresource and development group gives a positive outlook statement withfirst-half results showing its loss widened to $2.4 million in the six months toSeptember 30, up from a $1.7 million loss at the same stage last year, as itsexploration programmes continue. Northacre falls 2.0 percent following a strong run as Abu DhabiCapital Management confirms that it has held preliminary discussions withNorthacre about making an offer for the British property developer. Northacre shares have shot up 24 percent since December 20 when it revealedit had received preliminary bid approaches and was in discussions with twoparties.
