NetPlay TV Starts Second Quarter Strong; Will Sponsor Big Brother

Wed, 07th May 2014 10:03

LONDON (Alliance News) - Interactive gaming company NetPlayTV PLC Wednesday said that trading so far in the second quarter has been strong, and its brand SuperCasino.com will be the headline sponsor of both Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother again this summer.

NetPlay TV said that trading the second quarter ending June 30 has started strong, with average daily net revenue up by 17% on the same period a year earlier.

The group said that its brand SuperCasino.com will be the headline sponsor for the upcoming Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother reality television programmes, for a second consecutive year, where its branded bumpers will be shown from 9pm onwards on all coverage, including support programming, online and video on demand. It said the advertising campaign will begin in June for approximately 14 weeks.

"These high profile sponsorships are an effective tool to increase brand awareness and customer acquisition. Following a strong start to the second quarter...we look forward to the extended customer reach throughout the second and third quarters brought by this sponsorship," said Chief Executive Charles Butler in a statement.

NetPlay TV shares were trading 0.7% higher Wednesday morning, at 17.62 pence.
