(Alliance News) - NextEnergy Solar Fund Ltd on Thursday said it has hired Joanne Peacegood as a non-executive director, effective immediately.
The solar-focused company said Peacegood has over 20 years of experience predominantly in the asset management sector in Guernsey, Jersey, UK, Canada, US and Europe.
NextEnergy also added that she has ten years of experience in risk and quality, focusing on how businesses respond to ever-changing regulatory requirements, risk assessments and assessing the internal control environment.
Peacegood is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the company noted.
"It is a pleasure to welcome Jo to the Board. We believe her experience in audit and controls engagements will be invaluable," said NextEnergy Chair Kevin Lyon.
NextEnergy Solar Fund shares closed 1.1% lower on Thursday at 116.50 pence each in London.
