Mirada Launches New Turn-Key MultiScreen Product Iris In Swift Mode

Mon, 11th May 2020 16:10

(Alliance News) - Mirada PLC on Monday said it has lauched Iris in Swift Mode, its new turn-key solution to make its Iris end-to-end multiscreen product accessible to more operators.

Shares in Mirada were up 16% at 110.00 pence in London in afternoon trading.

Iris is Mirada's cloud-based video service. Iris in Swift Mode, meanwhile, allows for live and on-demand content to be viewed through a number of devices such as smartphones, smart TVs, and laptops. The new product is available in standard and plus versions.

Mirada further noted that: "Customers can also benefit from consumption, operational and navigational insights from Mirada's data intelligence platform, LogIQ. In addition, Swift Mode will incorporate Mirada's UX (User Experience) Evolver tool. This uses unassisted machine learning for audience segmentation and enables the operator to change the way it presents and promotes its offering to different subscribers in real time. These are all superior, cutting-edge functionalities that are currently only offered by a handful of top tier operators."

As it is a turn-key product, Iris in Swift Mode includes third-party components to allow users to launch their video service more rapidly.

Chief Executive Jose Luis Vazquez said: "We are delighted to be launching Iris in Swift Mode, our new turn-key solution. This will enable operators of any size to provide the type of user experience currently offered by only a handful of top tier operators. We are confident Iris in Swift Mode will expand Mirada's market reach and look forward to providing further updates."
