Thalassa Chair Joins Local Shopping REIT In Same Role Amid Shake Up
(Alliance News) - Local Shopping REIT PLC said Monday it has appointed Duncan Soukup and Gareth Edwards as non-executive chair and senior independent non-executive director, respectively, with immediate effect.
At the same time, Chair Stephen East has resigned after 10 years in the role, alongside Non-Executive Directors Nicolas Vetch and Brett Miller.
Soukup will be joining from Thalassa Holdings Ltd - a provider of marine geophysical services and major shareholder in Local Shopping - where he has been executive chair for 11 years since 2008.
Edwards is a partner at LGE Capital Partners LLP since 2017, and prior to that was partner at law firm Pinsent Masons LLP.
Shares in Local Shopping REIT are suspended since mid-September following a tender offer by the company. Thalassa shares were 3.4% lower at 70.01 pence on Monday in London.
