Software firm Logica has announced a reshuffle of its executive committee.The company has announced the formation of a Business Consulting division, with a focus on improving the business performance of Logica’s clients. The division will be headed by Patrick Guimbal.Joe Hemming remains chief executive officer of the Outsourcing Services division.With the impending retirement of Crister Stjernfelt, chief executive officer (CEO) of the Nordic countries and the group chief marketing officer, the group has decided to create a new role of chief client officer to be filled by Amanda Mesler, who is currently leading the group’s North American business.Stjernfelt will progressively hand over his duties as CEO of the Nordics over the final quarter of 2009. Stefan Gardefjord, CEOSweden, will join the Logica Executive Committee while João Baptista, CEO Northern and Central Europe will take over responsibility for the other Nordic countries.These changes ‘will ensure our clients benefit from the combination of strong local client facing operations, supported by low cost shared services and two global service lines, delivering consistent capabilities however clients need them,’ the company said.
