LONDON (Alliance News) - London Capital Group Holdings PLC Wednesday said that Chief Executive Charles-Henri Sabet bought 100,000 shares in the company at 24 pence per share and 75,000 shares at 22.3 pence per share, meaning he now owns 6.9 million shares or 9.2% of the company.
The CEO also has an indirect interest in 9 million London Capital Group shares held by GLIO Holdings Ltd, a company in which he has a 21.79% stake.
Sabet's purchases came on the same day as London Capital Group shares closed up by 11% at 23.88 pence.
Earlier on Wednesday, London Capital reported that its pretax loss from continuing operations widened to GBP7.9 million in 2014 from GBP4.8 million in the prior year, but Sabet said that he expects the group to return to growth in the second half of 2015.
