IN BRIEF: Jupiter US Smaller underperforms benchmark in first half

Jupiter US Smaller Companies PLC - investment firm - Says net asset value per share rises to 1,314.95 pence as at the end of 2020 from 1,116.35p recorded at the end of June 2020. This represents an increase of 18%, however, less than the 25% gain of the company's benchmark, the sterling-adjusted Russell 2000 Total Return Index. The company's middle-market share price at the end of the year stood at 1,192.5p, representing a 9.3% discount to NAV. Going forward, the company says the US smaller company sector is still an attractive and interesting one for long term investors.

Current stock price: 1,342.42p, down 2.4% on Friday

Year-to-date change: up 13%
