LONDON (Alliance News) - Department store chain Debenhams PLC said Wednesday that it appointed Rachel Osborne as chief financial officer, with effect from September 17.
Osborne previously served as CFO for FTSE 250-listed Domino's Pizza Group and has worked at other retailers such as John Lewis PLC and Kingfisher PLC.
Debenhams's current CFO Matt Smith will leave the company at the end of August.
"I am looking forward to working with Rachel. She has deep experience across a variety of retail and customer-facing businesses and her commercial expertise will be invaluable as we build a strong financial foundation to underpin the transformation of Debenhams," Chief Executive Officer Sergio Bucher said.
Debenhams shares were trading down 1.2% at 13.20 pence each early Wednesday.
