IronRidge Resources Confirms Mineralisation Continuity At Zaranou

Wed, 19th Aug 2020 11:18

(Alliance News) - IronRidge Resources Ltd on Wednesday said mineralisation continuity has been confirmed at the Ehuasso main target in the Zaranou gold project, located in Ivory Coast.

The Africa focussed minerals exploration company said additional high-grade and broad low-grade air core results were received for 1 metre primary samples of previously announced 4 metre composite results over the Ehuasso target.

These results include: 4 metre at 9.79 grams per tonne of gold from 4m in hole ZAAC0227; 1m at 9.11 grams per tonne of gold from 23m in hole ZAAC0382 and 2m at 3.19 grams per tonne of gold from 30m in hole ZAAC0288.

Continuity was confirmed within the 160 metre spaced drill grid with new 4m composite results received for reverse circulation drilling.

These results include: 16 metre at 1.06 grams per tonne of gold from 68m in hole ZARC0018; 28m at 0.45 grams per tonne of gold from 32m in hole ZARC0016 and 4m at 1.68 grams per tonne of gold from 184m in hole ZARC0016.

Reverse circulation and air core drilling are now complete with a total of 2,077 metres in 12 holes drilled and a total of 20,312m in 404 holes drilled respectively.

Planning and access construction has now commenced for the third phase of the drill programs. Drilling is planned to start at the end of the third-quarter of 2020.

Chief Operating Officer Len Kolff said: "Field teams are now taking a well-earned break, whilst a relief crew is on site to commence site access construction for a planned third phase infill RC programme within the Ehuasso Main target and step-out AC exploration programme along the Ebilassokro, Ehuasso and Yakasse targets, to commence at the end of the third quarter of 2020."

IronRidge Resources shares were down 4.2% at 17.00 pence each on Wednesday morning in London.
