(Alliance News) - IQGeo Group PLC on Friday said it has appointed a former regional chief technology officer at Vodafone PLC as an independent non-executive director.
Andy MacLeod joins the productivity software company with immediate effect. He spent ten years with Vodafone, initially as chief net works officer and most recently as regional chief technology officer for the 12 Vodafone operating companies outside Europe.
MacLeod has been on the board of Verizon Wireless Inc and was deputy chair of Idex ASA.
IQGeo Chair Paul Taylor said: "Andy's substantial experience in the telecommunications industry combined with his expertise in key growth areas such as fibre and 5G, will be an invaluable contribution."
Shares in IQGeo were down 0.2% at 44.90 pence on Friday afternoon in London.
