LONDON (Alliance News) - Chariot Oil & Gas Ltd on Monday said it appointed Andrew Hockey as independent non-executive director with immediate effect.
Hockey has "over 35 years' experience in the oil & gas industry", the company said, with specific expertise in the development and production of gas assets in the UKCS sector.
He is currently chief executive officer of Independent Oil and Gas PLC, a UK-based development and production operator with assets in the Southern North Sea gas basin.
Hockey is also a founder of Fairfield Energy Ltd, where he currently serves as non-executive director and was previously a non-executive and chair of Sound Energy PLC.
Chariot Oil & Gas shares were trading 2.9% higher at 4.89 pence each.
